Spring Texas is full of history and beauty.
Spring, Tx. was once a part of Mexico and later became part of the US as an independent city. Spring Texas has had many names: Spring Branch (La Springa), Mormon Springs, New Philadelphia, etc. Spring, Tx.’s sister cities are New York City, London, Paris, Moscow – which means Spring has international flair! Spring is also home to ExxonMobil’s world headquarters.
Some well-known families have roots in Spring, TX. These include George W Bush, Laura Bush, Lyle Lovett, Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top fame – we love that band!!!
There are too many restaurants to name in Spring but the BEST places to eat are Spring House Restaurant (try the Spring Burger), Spring Street Bar and Grill (order a Great Balls of Fire), Frosty Burger (seriously, don’t go there – it’s terrible), Gringo’s (super tasty nachos or ribs), Greenhouse Restaurant, Spring Cafe, Food Market a.k.a Spring Bistro, Chuck’s Southern Comforts Cafe, Spring Creek BBQ.
There are several attractions in Spring, Tx. including The Woodlands Mall which was just named the 13th most influential mall in America by Forbes Magazine! It houses stores such as Nordstrom, Macy’s, JCPenny, and Victoria’s Secret among many others! Also located in Spring is/are The Cynthia Woods Resort and Conference Center which has several golf courses! Spring also has many parks, Spring Branch Memorial Park, the Spring Creek Greenway Nature Trail, etc. Spring is home to The Woodlands College Park High School.

Spring hosts an annual rodeo at Spring Creek BBQ where you can eat delicious food while watching people ride bulls! Spring also holds a community-wide festival every other year called “Celebrate Spring” with rides, live music, and fun activities for kids.
There are too many schools in Spring to name but here are some of them: Cypress Point Elementary, Spring Forest Middle School, Spring Woods High School.
The weather in Spring is pretty nice most of the time but sometimes it’s very windy – Spring is not an inland city so it’s usually windy. Spring is also very rich in vegetation – things like oak, pecan, and cedar trees are abundant. There are many lakes nearby in Spring which makes for some great fishing opportunities!
